1. 모시 브라자
이덕준 여사는 모시로 브라자를 만든다.
이 여사는 1937년 경북 고령군에서 태어나, 해가 지나다보니 8남매의 장녀가 되었다. 세월이 흘러 5남매를 키우고, 손주가 12놈이나 된다. 모시는 동대문에 가서 사온다. 결이 고운 국산 모시는 한 마에 커피가 네잔이다. 노랗던 모시는 자꾸 빨면 하얗게 변하고, 자꾸 입으면 닳고, 달아지면 기운다. 이여사는 가방이든 옷이든 필요한만큼만 만드는 법이 없다. 여분은 자식들, 손주들 한테 나누어 준다. 이여사가 만든 브라자는 남들주는것보다 본인이 쓰는것이 가장 예쁘다.


1. Moshi Bra. (Ramie Cloth Bra)
Mrs. Lee Duck Joon Makes bras out of Ramie fabric.
Mrs. Lee was born in 1937, KyengBook, Goryeong Goon, South Korea as the oldest of 8 children. She went on raising 5 children of her own, and has 12 grand children. She buys Ramie Fabric in DongDeaMoon, Seoul. The soft Korean Ramie fabric coasts four coffees for about a foot. After washings, slowly the original tan color of the fabric fades and turns white, after wearing, the bra tears, and when it tears she patches. Mrs. Lee never makes just what she needs. She always gives her children and grand children the bags and clothes that she made. Mrs. Lee's keeps the best made bras for herself.

2. 새끼
새끼줄은 왼손 음줄이 오른손 양줄하고 부비고 꼬아져서 태어난다.
음줄은 성줄 이라고 해서 신의 길, 양줄은 속줄이라해서 사람길 이라는 의미도 있다는데, 한번 꼬을 때마다 이줄이 왼쪽줄이다가 저줄이 왼쪽줄이 되고 하는것이다. 흔한것 반, 성스러운것 반, 같은방향으로 돌아야 단단한 줄이 된다. 새끼는 보통 짚으로 만들지만, 사실 길죽하고 질기면 못쓰는 재료가 없다. 쑥으로도 만들기도 하고, 공업용 랩을 가져다가 만들면 비닐이 뭉쳐져 퍼런 줄이 나오고, 신문지로 만들면 만드는 손이 시커멓게 되고, 현수막을 찟어다 만들면 알록달록 하다.


2. SeaKki (Straw Rope)
‌SeaKki Rope is made by rubbing and twisting the Yin rope on left hand and Yang rope on right hand.
Yin rope, the holly rope, represents the god's way, and Yang rope, the common rope, represents people way, but as they are being made, it turns holy to common and common to holy each twist. The common and the holy needs to turn the same direction to become a strong rope. SeaKki is commonly made out of straw, however  there is nothing you can't use that is long and tough. Some are made out of mugworts, if you use packing wrap, the vinyl condenses and makes a blue rope, if you use newspaper, it turns your hand black, and if you use banner fabric, it makes a colorful rope.

3. 이덕준 여사, 손주새끼 김예린
필요해서 만드는것이 아니라, 만들고 싶어서 필요하다. 꼭 돈벌자고 하는일도 아니고, 할줄아는게 이것 밖에 없었다면, 이것 말고 다른것은 관심이 없었다는 건지도 모른다. 식욕, 수면욕, 성욕이 생존과 번식을 위해 되풀이 되는 것이라면, 창작욕은 무엇을 위해서 대물림 될까. 자기 만족을 위해서 였다면, 나눠주고 자랑해야만 성이 풀리는것은 왜 일까. 현대의 예술이 소통을 연구 하기 위한 장치라면, 예술가가 아닌 사람이 누굴까. 명분이 무엇이건 결국은 손이 끌려서 만드는 것인데 귀천은 누가 정하나.


3. Mrs. Lee's Granddaughter, YeRin
‌You make because you need to make. You are making not to make money. If this is the only thing you know how to do, maybe you weren't interested in anything else. If needs for sleeping, eating, and reproducing are repeated for the survival and continuation of the species, why does need for crafting pass down? If it was for the self satisfaction, why do we want to show and tell? If Art is a tool to investigate ways to communicate, who isn't an artist? Whatever the reason was, if the need to make was inherit, who decides the hierarchy of the value?
