You as me was an installation with a polygon-shaped tent with sheer curtained walls containing a three-seat white couch for guests to take a seat within. The couch contained speakers inside that played snoring sounds on a loop. The geometrical foam star from Planet 2014 hovered above in the canopy opening. The installation was inspired by the ideas of the body as a physical object. The couch represents an embracing object that felt alive. The snoring chair had inflatable cushions and also sensors that detected pressure from the body weights of the participants, so snoring stopped for nine seconds when someone sat on the chair and then started again. The behavior of the chair mimics the most intimate experience we can have—sleeping next to someone, a trusting and vulnerable situation. When you touch a snoring person, they will skip snoring for a beat. It is an expression of the idea of indifference between bodies in moments.
